Pool & Spa Total Alkalinity Enhancer is a premium, fast-acting powder designed to elevate the total alkalinity of your swimming pool or spa water.
Alkalinity serves as a comprehensive gauge of the alkali content within your spa water. When alkalinity levels dip too low, the introduction of various chemicals to your pool or spa can lead to abrupt shifts in pH levels. Optimal alkalinity acts as a safeguard, effectively buffering and stabilizing the pH.
Spa Application Guidelines:
Begin by gauging the alkalinity using your test kit or test strips. If the reading falls below 80mg/l (ppm), it's time to boost the total alkalinity.
The recommended dosage is 30g of our Alkalinity Enhancer per 1,000 litres of spa water. Each application will raise alkalinity by approximately 10 - 20 mg/l (ppm).
With the spa's circulation system in operation, apply the product across different areas of the spa, avoiding the skimmer. Only apply after bathing has concluded.
Reassess after 24 hours. If alkalinity remains insufficient, reapply the enhancer.
Maintain alkalinity within the range of 80 - 160 mg/l (ppm) for optimal results.
